Lane One Media LLC (“Lane One”, “we”) is a marketing agency for car dealerships, based in Los Angeles, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect through laneone.us and through the work we do for dealerships, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Contact and audit requests: your name, email, phone number and anything you write in your message.
Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
Calls, texts and emails with our team: what you tell us and the details we need to reply.
Website visits: the pages you view, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, and your approximate location. Our website host collects this so we can count and improve our traffic.
Leads we handle for dealerships
We run advertising for the dealerships we work with, such as Facebook and Instagram lead ads. When you answer one of those ads, the form collects the details it shows you, for example your name, phone number, email and answers about the vehicle you want. Some forms confirm your phone number with a one-time text code.
We send that information to the dealership you asked about, usually straight into its customer system, so its team can contact you. We use it only to deliver and report on that dealership’s campaigns. After that, the dealership’s own privacy policy covers how it uses your information.
How we use it
To answer your inquiry, prepare a free audit or proposal, and provide our services.
To deliver leads to the dealership you asked about, and to measure how its ads perform.
To send our newsletter or updates if you signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To keep our website secure and working, and to understand how visitors use it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
with the dealership you asked about, for leads from its ads;
with service providers that help us run our business, such as our website host, our email, phone and customer-management tools, and advertising platforms like Meta and Google. They may use it only to provide their services to us;
when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
Texts and calls
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time. We do not sell or share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies and tracking
Our website host provides the visitor statistics described above. If we add analytics or advertising tools to measure our own ads, for example from Meta or Google, they may use cookies or similar technology to collect device and browsing information. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, for example while we are talking with you or working with your dealership, and for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@laneone.us. We will not treat you differently for asking. You can also unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email, and reply STOP to any text.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee it.
Children
Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
